Gil turned 57 earlier this month … April 1st to be exact. On the 4th GSH AudioBlog, we celebrate Gil’s birthday with two audio snippets from Donnie Letts’ documentary on Gil from 2004. Also included is a tune Gil did with Bernard “Pretty” Purdie titled, ARTIFICIALNESS. We close out the episode with a Happy Birthday ditty for Gil.

Just found your blog mate and look forward to listening to the audio files. Ive been scratching around trying to find any “current” news on GSH with out any success so far. I know he has had his share of troubles the last year or so it would be good to hear some positive news. Happy B’day Gil.

I had already saw your posts on youtube and now I just discovered your blog!
It’s been a long time that I try to see this documentary as I love both works from GSH and Don Letts, but there is no way to put my hands on it, so my question is do you know if there is a way to find it, buy it or dl it?
